Calling for science and solidarity, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is warning that the world is facing “a dangerous epidemic of misinformation” on the internet about the coronavirus pandemic. The world’s top diplomat said that harmful health advice, wild conspiracy theories and hatred going viral are hampering relief efforts.
